We have partnered with DKMS and Anthony Nolan to raise awareness among Black African and Caribbean communities about the critical need to join the registry. By increasing the number of registered donors, we can significantly improve the chances of survival for black people battling blood cancers.

Currently, there is a shortage of black people registered on the Bone Marrow Register, with 80% never finding a match to treat their blood cancer. The statistics are stark: if you are a white person,  your chance of finding a matching donor is 1 in 3, while if you are a black person, it drops to a staggering 1 in 125,000.

Imagine the heartbreaking situation of having someone you love dying from a curable blood disease or cancer, and the only hope of saving them rests on finding a match among 125,000 black individuals. The anguish would be unbearable.
