African and Caribbean people face an alarming disparity in their chances of finding a compatible bone marrow donor. Various UK registries have different age eligibility criteria’s (Anthony Nolan 16- 30) DKMS (17-55) , but you only need to enrol in one register. The Anthony Nolan and NHS Stem Cell Registry will conduct searches across all registries to find a suitable match, regardless of where you initially registered.
